This is how I like to organize packing for a trip:

So weather should be warmish, but cooling off at night. Spending time both in cities, small towns and countryside. Rain is a possibility. I’ll be doing a lot of walking and also biking. Travelling in France by train, staying in hotels and a barge. Take into consideration my own personal style.
I write my list, then start editing. I lay out all the clothes to see how they look together, and also to see if they’ll fit in my suitcase!
